Training Yorkshire Terriers
The Yorkshire Terrier is a very brave dog, adventurous and although small big on character. If trained properly then the Yorkshire Terrier can be obedient and a lovely companion, nevertheless problems can arise if the owner does not prove to be the pack leader and they could also become very yappy.
Like all dogs, Yorkshire Terriers need to be shown who’s boss from the first day. Once the potty training has been accomplished then behavior training and command training needs to be implemented. Remember Yorkshire Terriers are full of energy and many that aren’t trained properly may become aggressive towards others and dogs.
